Busy, Busy, Busy!

I’m still among the living. I’ve been busy working on the last of my Spellbinders Design Team projects. I can’t believe how fast this year has flown by. A new design team will take over on April 1 and I know they will inspire us to create wonderful things. Also, I’ve been working on a few classes that I’ll be teaching in the near future. In the meantime here’s a Spring project featured in the Spellbinders Gallery.

Note Card Set

Here is another project from the Spellbinders™ Gallery. I re-purposed a box that had trash bags in it. When I emptied the box instead of throwing it away I thought it would make a great box to hold a set of note cards.

I covered the box with patterned paper and glued glass pebbles on the bottom for feet. Instant oatmeal boxes are great to use for this project too.

The note cards are 5″ x 7″.

Use various patterned papers to cover the card fronts. Ink up your die templates prior to cutting and embossing. This step make the die cut show up better and adds more color to the card without adding bulk.

Use your favorite JustRite Stampers for the sentiments and borders.

CPS 150

Here’s my take on this weeks CPS 150 sketch.

I used the soon to be released Spellbinders™ S4-248 Labels Thirteen die templates #5 and 6 (with #1 being the smallest). Be sure to check with your local retailer to see if they are offering special orders on any of the dies that were featured during the Spellbinders™ Surprise Party. This set is one you will want to add to your Nestabilities™ inventory for sure!
