NEW Silhouette and Shadow punch collections

Monday, January 23rd, 2012

McGill Inc. has just releases five NEW punch collections and they are called Silhouette and Shadows. There are two punches in each set. One is a detailed Silhouette Shape and one Shadow background shape and both are perfect for layering.

Here’s just one of the projects I made using the Heart set.

I made the background paper by punching both shapes from Fun Foam to make stamps.

Punch Shadow Heart punch from Fun Foam. Attach to acrylic block with double sided tape.

Randomly stamp Shadow Heart image with Angel Pink ink on white card stock.

Punch Silhouette Heart from Fun Foam, attach to acrylic block with double sided tape.

With the Silhouette Heart shape, go back with Rose Bud ink and stamp over the Shadow image.

To make the accent I punched the Silhouette Heart from pink card stock and the Shadow Heart from black card stock. Adhering them together with a glue pen then mounting on Stacking Square and Fancy Square punches with foam tape.

I’ll be back tomorrow with another card featuring the Silhouettes and Shadows Heart punches.

Enjoy!

Bling Challenge

Friday, July 29th, 2011

Here’s my project for the SSCC Bling Challenge. (this post should have gone live while I was traveling home from CHA. Sorry for the delay.)

I have a Bling challenge project to share with you. This is one of the projects that we taught at CHA this week using Cindy’s Favorite Elements stamp set.

If you haven’t tried her stamps yet, this is a great way to sample some of them plus they match her custom Spellbinders™ die templates too.
I used Momento-Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the images and ink the edges of the papers. I shadow stamped the focal image with Momento-Angel Pink and Rose Bud inks on the Anglaise Lace die. Then added rhinestones as an accent.
Please join us in this fun challenge.
Enjoy!
