Happy Easter

Wednesday, March 20th, 2013

Happy Spring!

Today is the first day of Spring which means Spring Break and Easter are right around the corner.

JFF-Happy-Easter

It’s also time for my weekly JFF post.

I stamped the Carrot Patch Border with Tuxedo Black Momento ink onto Cryogen card stock and colored them with Copic markers then die cut them with the Spellbinders Card Creator Matting Basics A and B sets. Next I stamped and die cut the Happy Easter sentiment with black ink onto Cryogen card stock, again using the matting sets I die cut green and orange card stock, layered them all together and added a rhinestone embellishment.

Layer an embossed panel onto green and orange card stock and finish it off with some bakers twine then add the carrot and sentiment pieces to complete the card.

I hope you enjoy this first day of Spring and may you and your family have a very Happy Easter!

 JFF-Shamrock

I stamped the Shamrock with green in rotating it to fill the entire card panel. I colored each one with Copic markers G-03, 17. I then used my Silhouette Cameo to create the sentiment. I fussy cut an extra Shamrock then adhered everything with foam tape to Spellbinders die templates.

Rose card

Wednesday, January 9th, 2013

Today I have a card to share with you featuring JFF Rubber Stamps G2873-Rose.

Rose

I stamped the Rose onto Cryogen paper with Momento Tuxedo Black ink, then colored it with Copic markers. I cut and embossed the image using the Spellbinders™ Polka Dots #3 die template in Card Creator line. Then cut the Basics B #7 die template from red card stock layering the two together and mounting onto black card stock with foam tape.

I used the “Just because I love you” sentiment from the UMS7020-Unmounted Sentiments 3 sheet,  only inking “Just because” with black ink. Then cut and embossed from the accent shape in the Fancy Postage Edge set by Spellbinders™. I used Lady Bug ink with a craft sponge and stenciled through the die prior to removing the shape from the die. I then mounted it onto black card stock, embellished it with heart brads and adhered it to the card front with foam tape.

Be sure to check out the sale on the JFF web site. All stamps are 35% off through January 18th.

Enjoy!

Just Because….

Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013

This is my first post of 2013 and its also my first post for the JFF DT blog. Be sure to visit the JFF blog every day as there will be projects posted daily from our New Design Team.

So without further a do, here is my first JFF project for 2013. It features an image called American Beauties and it measures 3-3/4″ x 5-1/4″.

American-Beauties

I chose to stamp the image with black ink then die cut it with a Spellbinders™ Scalloped Circle die template. Then I colored it with Copic markers and embellished it with rhinestones. I used RV-02, 04, 06, 09, 69 for the Roses and G-43, 46 for the stem and leaves, with C-2 outlined around the edges.

Next, I layered it up with some embossed card stock, lace, a couple of die cuts and “Just because I love you” sentiment from the Sentiments 3 unmounted sheet to complete my card.

Supplies used:

  • JFF Stamps: UMS7020-Sentiments 3, H2247-American Beauties

I used Spellbinders Die Template Sprightly Sprockets to create the accent from silver Craft Foil then stamped the sentiment B-2898- Happy Father’s Day on white cardstock and layered onto black cardstock which was die cut with Standard Circles SM and LG.

Bling Challenge

Friday, July 29th, 2011

Here’s my project for the SSCC Bling Challenge. (this post should have gone live while I was traveling home from CHA. Sorry for the delay.)

I have a Bling challenge project to share with you. This is one of the projects that we taught at CHA this week using Cindy’s Favorite Elements stamp set.

If you haven’t tried her stamps yet, this is a great way to sample some of them plus they match her custom Spellbinders™ die templates too.
I used Momento-Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the images and ink the edges of the papers. I shadow stamped the focal image with Momento-Angel Pink and Rose Bud inks on the Anglaise Lace die. Then added rhinestones as an accent.
Please join us in this fun challenge.
Enjoy!
